Orientation Day 2010

In the first week of this academic year, there are many activities to welcome the freshmen of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. These activities are as follows:

·     Orientation Day-- to provide freshmen with necessary university information, how to behave in university correctly, to advice them on how to behave properly as university students, as well as on student life in general.

·     Listening to Dhamma from a revered Monk-- to teach freshmen about life beyond the worldly matters; students have to study about Dhamma to help them resolve their life problems more intelligently.

·     Wai Khru (Pay Respect to Teachers)-- before students start learning with teachers, they have to pay respect to them first according to the Thai tradition.

·    Bai Sri Su Kwan (Northeastern Welcome and Blessing Ceremony)-- this ceremony is aimed at blessing and welcoming new comers to Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University.

·     Campaign activities-- there are many campaign activities such as how to drive or ride safely, how to prevent HIV and drug, including a campaign to promote democracy.

·     Rab Nong Mai-- Every faculty and major will prepare fun activities for freshmen aiming to teach them about tolerance, patience, unity, and so on.

There are many interesting activities for new comers and Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University truly welcome all the students and wish you all to be successful in your university life.
